Established in 2000

The family business of Guido & Son Italian Imports was established in Italy where father and son hold citizenship.  The importing of fine Italian wines evolved into a successful partnership with vineyard owners throughout Italy.

James G. Guido is the Owner/Importer of Guido & Son.  An experienced businessman, he was raised in the retail business which included an Italian specialty store, originally owned by his father.

Our son, James E. Guido, is the Italian Wine Specialist/Consultant for Guido & Son.  He resided in Grosseto, Italy (Tuscany) where he learned the Italian language.  During his residence there, Jim established personal relationships with several vintners.  He was educated in the wine growing process, specific to each region of Italy.  Jim has an extensive knowledge of Italian wines--from production and harvesting, to the final tasting.

The majority of our wines are imported into the United States exclusively through Guido & Son.  We offer "country" wines from small vineyards, in addition to the well-known varietals.
